Site creation
Blackboard course sites for T2, 2008 are created automatically based on data from course profiles. CQU staff can view this information via Staff MyCQU
Hint: the page lists all courses for T2, 2008. You can find a particular course by using your web browser's find facility (hit CTRL-F for Windows and ALT-F for a Mac).
By default Bb course sites are created as empty course sites and as not available.
Empty
Staff can either copy the contents of another course into the T2, 2008 course site and/or enter new information.
Not available
This means students are unable to enter the course site, but staff can. Course coordinators can make a course available whenever they wish. There are some instructions on how to do this.
Staff allocation
At CQU, information about who is teaching what courses is stored in the Academic Staff Allocation (ASA) system. The allocation of teaching staff to Blackboard course sites is taken from the ASA.
Information in the ASA is added by faculty staff when decisions about who is teaching what are made. Course coordinators can also add people to the ASA for their courses. Additional information is available.

- The CQU Blackboard help page - a collection of resources for both students and staff. Also available from any Blackboard page via the help icon at the top of the page.
